With a size of 400 × 306 × 103mm and a weight of 5.4kg, the model has a fairly good power of 2.7kW; (PF=0.9). The design provides a built-in high-voltage MPPT solar charger, allowing you to connect the inverter to an array of solar panels with a power of up to 3,000W. The VM-3K24H is autonomous and can be connected to any type of 24V DC battery. The maximum charger current is 80A (combined) – it is this indicator that determines the charging speed of the external battery. The inverter provides a pure sine wave of 230V (Hardwired connection) when operating on battery power. Regarding the signal from solar panels: MPPT range – 30-400V DC.
The inverter efficiency is 95%, which means that the device will “take” a minimum of energy for its own maintenance. Talking about domestic use, such device will be quite enough to power a refrigerator, boiler, TV, washing machine and provide lighting in the house. The switching time depends on the type of device: 10ms (for PCs) and 20ms (for household appliances). There is a built-in display and buttons for setting charging priority or automatic operating modes, as well as protection functions for safe use of the device. Regarding interfaces: the inverter has USB and RS-232 ports. An external communication module (2E-COMM-MOD2) is also available for the device, providing control and access to information about the operation of the inverter via the Internet.
