2E Chemical Light Sources
The chemical light sources are available and can be ordered from a warehouse in Ukraine. Light is generated through a safe, controlled chemical reaction.
The range includes four products that differ in light type and color:
- 2E GS6 in two variations – with green and red light;
- 2E GS12 – white soft light;
- 2E IRGS6 – infrared light.
The glow duration is also slightly different:
- 2E GS6 and 2E GS12 – from 12 h of glow;
- 2E IRGS6 – from 8 h of glow.
All products are suitable for use at ultra-low temperatures – down to -20 °C – and high temperatures – over +40 °C.

The three colorful sticks of the 2E GS series are reliable chemical light sources that generate bright light under different conditions at the right time. They guarantee a long-lasting glow from 12 h. Efficiency and ease of use make the 2E GS the optimal solution for a variety of unforeseen situations. Thanks to their compact size (15 cm), they fit easily in a pocket, backpack, car glove compartment, etc.

Operating Principle and Activation
The 2E portable chemical light sources have two main components: a plastic container (stick) with chemical liquid inside (mainly hydrogen peroxide solution) and a rather fragile, breakable inner container with phosphorescent and oxide-reducing substances. After activation (bending the stick by hand or shaking it violently), the internal container is destroyed, resulting in the mixing of substances and the start of a chemical reaction between them within the container (stick) with the generation of light energy.
After a certain time, the active phase is completed, the chemical reaction slows down and the light gradually fades. The active glow phase time is indicated in the stick specifications – 8 or 12 hours. The chemical reaction cannot be interrupted or stopped, so chemical light sources are designed for one-time use!
Portability and Convenience
All chemical light sticks are quick and easy to activate and do not require any additional power supply or charging, making them suitable for use in any, even the most demanding, conditions. Most models are compact (1.5 × 15 cm), except for the 2E GS12, which measures 1 × 30 cm, so they can be conveniently stored in a backpack or car glove compartment, for example. In addition, the design has a built-in hole through which you can thread paracord, wire, etc. and hang or secure the stick. For this purpose, a thin, but strong, 80 cm long rope is included. The chemical light source is a convenient solution for lighting anywhere and anytime.

The 2E chemical lighting sticks are small but powerful. They operate without any external power source, making them a reliable solution for situations where the use of conventional batteries, rechargeable batteries or mains electricity is not possible or safe. The 2E chemical light sources are surprisingly lightweight, windproof, waterproof, non-toxic and safe to use near flammable materials. If dropped (before or after activation), they are not damaged; unactivated sticks are suitable for long-term storage for years. All of this means that they can be safely attached to clothing or in the car without worrying about heat, electric shock, fire or burn risks.
