The 2E GS6 chemical light source is a lightweight, windproof, waterproof, non-toxic, safe to use near flammable materials. Due to its quality, reliability and convenience, this product is a good solution for use during military operations and in any situation where reliable lighting is required. It is not damaged in the event of a fall (before or after activation); an unactivated stick is suitable for long-term storage for years. All of this means that it can be safely attached to clothing or in a car without worrying about heat, electric shock, fire or burn risks.

The light source works on the principle of chemical reaction, guaranteeing stable and bright light emission without the need for an additional energy source. The 2E stick has two main components: a plastic container (stick) containing a chemical liquid (mainly a hydrogen peroxide solution) and a rather fragile, breakable inner container with phosphorescent and oxide-reducing substances. After activation (bending the stick by hand or shaking it violently), the internal container is destroyed, resulting in the mixing of substances and the start of a chemical reaction between them within the container (stick) with the generation of light energy.
After a certain time, the active phase is completed, the chemical reaction slows down and the light gradually fades. The active phase of the glow lasts for 12 h. The chemical reaction cannot be interrupted or stopped, so chemical light sources are designed for one-time use!

The product does not require any additional power sources or charging – just activate it. In addition, the design has a built-in hole through which you can thread paracord, wire, etc. and hang or secure the stick. In addition, a thin, but strong, 80 cm long rope is included. The product is suitable for use in ultra-low temperatures down to -25 °C and high temperatures above +40 °C.
