2E Complex Pro 14 Lite. Small size, but big possibilities
If earlier the 2E range had only 15- and 17-inch laptops, now there is a more compact new model – Complex Pro 14 Lite.
Four configurations of 2E Complex Pro 14 Lite laptops with 12th generation Intel processors and different amounts of RAM and SSD are available to choose from. All of them have a keyboard with Ukrainian localization and a single-color white backlight. A window into the virtual world is a juicy 14″ diagonal IPS screen with an extended NTSC color coverage of 70%, a resolution of 1920 × 1080, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a matte coating without glare. A webcam with two noise-canceling microphones is integrated above the screen. The model is also equipped with stereo speakers. The top cover is made of aluminum, while the surface around the keyboard and the bottom panel are made of plastic. The laptop is distinguished, among other things, by a stylish design, in particular, the incredible color of the device catches the eye – Ice Crystal Blue (silver with a blue tint).
Lightweight and compact
With a laptop weight of 1.35 kg, the case width is less than 18 mm at its thickest point. Yes, this is not a record low figure among 14-inch models, but it is significantly lower than most competitors. And this is with a rather large lithium battery with a capacity of 53 Wh, which provides up to 11 hours of autonomous operation. However, add a charger with increased power of 90 W (against the typical 45-65 W) to the weight of the laptop, which can be independently replaced with a lighter USB charger, if necessary.
Multi-screen operation station
The USB Type-C connector of the laptop, in addition to Power Delivery technology, also supports Thunderbolt 4. This high-speed interface has a bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s, which allows to connect not only an external monitor via a DisplayPort or HDMI adapter, but also a multi-port docking station. That is, the compact ultra-book 2E Complex Pro 14 Lite can be turned into a multi-screen operation station for professional video editing in Adobe Premiere and three-dimensional rendering in 3Ds Max.
Modern Intel technologies
Even the integrated Intel UHD and Iris Xe graphics accelerators can cope with increasing the clarity of photos with the help of Topaz Gigapixel and other applications that actively use artificial intelligence. All thanks to Intel GNA technology, which accelerates neural calculations in hardware. And simple video editing and watching movies, in particular 8K HDR, will be made smoother by Intel Quick Sync technology.
Two-channel RAM
To accelerate the iGPU in games – install dual-channel RAM. For this, the 2E Complex Pro 14 Lite has two SO-DIMM DDR4 slots with a frequency of 3,200 MHz. In younger configurations of laptops with Core i3-1220P and i5-1240P processors, one 16 GB RAM module is installed. And the older one with Core i7-1260P can have as much as 32 GB of RAM in dual-channel mode with the expansion possibility up to 64 GB thanks to the replacement of modules. High-speed M.2 NVMe solid-state drives are available in 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB.
Powerful Alder Lake and energy-saving Gracemont cores
Intel’s P-indexed processors have an extended power limit of 28 W, compared to the U-models’ 15 W. This provides a longer operation time in Turbo Boost auto-acceleration mode. The twelfth generation of Core has a hybrid architecture – a combination of powerful Alder Lake and energy-saving Gracemont cores. The first are divided into two virtual Hyper-Threading threads, and the second are used for undemanding background tasks (operation of antivirus, audio player, messengers).
There is everything needed
Productivity will never be limited: from twelve computing threads in Core i3, up to sixteen in Core i5 and i7. It is easy to install the new Windows 11 OS and be sure of data security with the TPM 2.0 cryptographic module. And Wi-Fi 6 AX and Bluetooth 5.2 allow to always stay connected and enjoy high speed and quality of connection. In addition, the model is equipped with all the most necessary interfaces: from two classic USB Type-A connectors and HDMI to Thunderbolt, a card reader, a Mini-Jack audio connector and, of course, gigabit Ethernet.
