Hybrid Inverter: Power, Stability, Accuracy
The KUFA is based on a professional hybrid inverter with a rated output power of 5,000 W and a peak power of up to 10,000 VA. This enables the station to withstand sudden loads, for example when starting pumps, compressors, refrigerators or boilers.
The power factor of 1 ensures that all power is used efficiently and without loss. The inverter generates a pure sine wave with < 3 % distortion, which is important for powering sensitive devices such as medical equipment, computer hardware, servers, video surveillance systems, etc.
Intelligent SPWM technology (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) ensures accurate conversion of DC to AC, and the switching time to backup power is less than 10 ms. The operating frequency is standard 50 Hz, the rated output voltage is 220/230 V.
Charging Via Grid: Stability Even at Unstable Voltages
The KUFA supports charging from the AC grid with a maximum power output of 3,150 W, which allows the batteries to be fully charged in approximately 3-4 h. The input voltage range is from 90 to 280 V, so the system is resistant to overvoltage or undervoltage. The maximum input current is 60 A. Dual digital closed-loop voltage and current control algorithms ensure high charging accuracy and reliable battery protection, extending battery life.
Solar Power: Maximum Efficiency with 5.5 kW MPPT
The KUFA is equipped with an integrated 5,500 W MPPT controller that supports efficient charging from solar panels even in changing weather conditions. The controller has a wide input voltage range (120 to 500 V) with an optimal MPPT range of 120-450 V. This makes it possible to combine different configurations of PV panels, both series and parallel.
The maximum input current of 100 A ensures efficient use of the power of even large solar arrays. Thanks to this, KUFA can fully function in off-grid mode without depending on external power sources.
10.24 kWh Batteries
The system includes two LiFePO₄ battery modules, each with a capacity of 5.12 kWh (100 Ah, 51.2 V). This provides a total accumulated energy of 10.24 kWh, which is enough to power an average private house for a day (with an average daily consumption of 8-10 kWh). The key advantages of LiFePO₄ cells are their long service life (up to 6,000 cycles at 80 % DOD), resistance to overheating, chemical stability, low self-discharge and a discharge depth of up to 95 %.
It also features an integrated BMS (Battery Management System) technology that manages each battery individually: it controls temperature, voltage, current, cell balancing and protection against short circuits, overload, deep discharge and overheating.
Capacity Expansion: up to 15 Modules, up to 76.8 kWh
The KUFA has a scalable architecture. Up to 15 battery modules can be connected to the base station, increasing the total capacity to 76.8 kWh. This solution is ideally suited for facilities with high energy consumption, such as mini-farms, remote stations, residential complexes or service sites. Scalability is achieved without loss of efficiency or the need to change the primary infrastructure.
Compact Form Factor
Despite its impressive power output, the KUFA maintains a compact size of 575 × 535.5 × 654.6 mm, while the total weight of the system is 115 kg. This makes it suitable for use as a portable solution – for example, in the field, for campsites, mobile workshops, communication centres or mobile laboratories.
IP20 protection, air cooling, an operating temperature range of -15 °C to +55 °C, and a humidity resistance of up to 95 % – all of these are key to the KUFA’s stable operation in challenging environments.
Certified Safety
The KUFA meets the requirements of CE (EN62109-1) and EMC (EN61000), the international safety standards for energy storage and transmission devices. This guarantees quality of construction, compliance with electromagnetic standards, and safety for users and the environment.
