Its 2.31-inch color screen with horizontal orientation and a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels makes using the phone extremely convenient, as fonts and icons in the main menu are enlarged for better readability. The classic design in black color with a matte surface complements the orange accents on the SOS button, side slider for controlling the flashlight, and central navigation key. Large plastic keys with backlighting ensure easy dialing and menu navigation. The phone comfortably fits in the hand due to its thickness of only 13 mm, and the strap attachment hole adds convenience during carrying.

Clear interface and easy control

The convenient and intuitive user interface UI 2E v2.0 with a dark theme allows easy control of all phone functions. The menu is designed according to W3C standards for ensuring interfaces accessibility for devices without touch screens, so finding the necessary functions and making adjustments can be done without extra effort. The large high-contrast menu font (20 pixels/5.2 mm) is readable and legible. The font size of the dialer is 30 pixels (8 mm). The “Main Menu” has two display options: a carousel with 6 sections with large icons covering the entire screen, and a separate menu in a text list format, which can be customized according to needs by shortening or expanding it. The central joystick button can be programmed for quick launch of two programs, and the bottom keys (*, 0, #) activate the voice recorder, FM radio, and change sound profiles, respectively, with a long press.

Voiceover of numbers

The 2E T180 MAX mobile phone features a function for voiceover of numbers, allowing users to hear the phone number in Ukrainian during incoming calls, contact browsing or number dialing. The availability of this feature makes using the phone more convenient and accessible for a wide audience. Users do not need to look at the phone screen to check the entered number or to answer an incoming call. Additionally, the function helps avoid errors when dialing a number, especially when users are on the move. Moreover, for people with visual impairments or disabilities, voiceover of number can be extremely useful, as it enables to easily use the phone without significant effort.

Worthy functionality

The 2E T180 MAX mobile phone supports two SIM cards (GSM 900/1800), allowing users to store different contacts and receive calls from two numbers. A microSD card slot up to 16 GB is provided for storing personal melodies, contacts, music files and other important information. The bright flashlight, activated by a switch button on the left side of the housing, operates independently of the phone’s software and works directly from the battery, even when the phone is turned off. The phone book accommodates 500 contacts, each of which can have a personalized melody (from six melodies in the phone memory or from the microSD memory card). Additionally, each contact can have a photo displayed on the large phone display during incoming calls. Contacts can be imported to the phone from a VCF file stored on the microSD card or from another phone via Bluetooth. The speed dial function (keys “2-9”) and black and white lists provide easy access to favorite contacts and protection against unwanted calls.
Quick access to the “Voice Recorder” application is provided by the “*” key, allowing users to instantly record conversations or ideas. After recording, audio files are stored on the microSD card with names indicating the date and time, making it easy to find the desired recordings.
The phone also features an FM receiver that operates without internet connection or external antennas, although wired headphones can be used to improve signal reception. The audio player allows users to create playlists and enjoy music through the speaker, wired or wireless headphones.
Additionally, the phone includes a range of useful applications, such as a calendar with event planner, stopwatch, timer, alarm clock with reminder recording capability and the popular game “Snake” for entertainment.

SOS button

In the event of a long press on the orange SOS button located on the back panel, the phone automatically calls five preset numbers and sends an SMS with LBS coordinates of the device’s location. These coordinates can be used to quickly determine the phone’s location on a map via internet resources, providing additional security in unforeseen situations.
